We have a variety of bushes in the Rhododendron family (rhododendrons and azaleas) that do well in our shady yard. They're blooming beautifully right now. We love them because they're evergreen and make the yard seem more bearable in the winter when everything's brown. And they're spectacular in the spring when they're blooming.
